“ I was nervous about coming here because of some negative reviews, but I had a great experience. I took my mom to Queens Yards for her birthday and made reservations for a Friday evening. It wasn't crowded, and we had perfect seats right by the window. The sauce that came with my oysters made them ten times better. The lobster linguine was really good, though I think the noodles could have been cooked a little longer--but that's just my personal preference. The seared Ora King salmon was served over creamy spinach, and it was delicious--well-cooked with great flavor. The truffle fries were good but not worth the price. Next time, I'd go for regular fries or a different side. Margaritas are strong, definitely order one if that's your vibe. ”
“ My dining experience at queensyard was nothing short of unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and guided to a beautifully set table overlooking the breathtaking views of the Vessel and the Hudson River. The restaurant's ambiance strikes the perfect balance between elegance and comfort, making it an ideal setting for a refined yet relaxed evening. Dinner service begins at 5 pm daily, and the menu is a true celebration of modern American cuisine with a distinct London influence. Every dish is thoughtfully crafted, highlighting premium ingredients and expert preparation. We decided to indulge in the Porterhouse for two, and it was an absolute masterpiece--perfectly cooked to our preferred doneness, juicy, tender, and bursting with flavor. The truffle fries were the ultimate side, crispy and aromatic with just the right amount of truffle essence to elevate the experience. To complement our meal, we explored the expertly curated wine list, which offered a fantastic selection of both international and domestic wines. The Rose Room, an intimate and stylish lounge within queensyard, further enhanced our evening with its sophisticated cocktail offerings and charming atmosphere. Whether you're in the mood for a classic drink or something more adventurous, the mixologists here craft each beverage with precision and creativity. What truly set this experience apart, though, was the impeccable service. The staff was incredibly attentive without being intrusive, ensuring that every detail was taken care of, from timing our courses perfectly to providing excellent recommendations. Their knowledge and passion for hospitality made us feel truly special throughout the night. For anyone looking for a sophisticated and memorable dining experience in New York City, queensyard is an absolute must-visit. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion, enjoying a romantic date night, or simply treating yourself to a fine meal, this restaurant delivers excellence in every aspect. I can't wait to return and explore more of their exquisite menu! ”
“ Upon first entrance, one is struck by the monumental scale of this restaurant; everything's quite massive and the ceiling is high enough that one can see a good bit of the vessel no matter where one is seated. We were there early on a Saturday afternoon and despite having no reservation, were seated right away. The menu is quite comprehensive, with a smattering of brunch items and myriad dinner-oriented dishes. A friendly and personable server--ironically named Karen--came over right away to take our orders. Based on her advice, I opted for the Salmon Eggs Benedict on a Portuguese muffin; my wife ordered a well-done 8-ounce burger. N.B. a Portuguese muffin is well-nigh indistinguishable from an English muffin. Our orders appeared in mere minutes, but unsurprisingly my wife's ultra-thick burger was juicy red all the way through, not well done by any metric. So she sent it back and it was some time until its replacement was sufficiently seared, but a quick slice down the middle revealed it as absolutely perfect. It was indeed a superb burger, topped with two thick slabs of bacon and accompanied by a generous portion of crispy fries. My Eggs Benedict were sublime but it wasn't a ton of food so I'm glad I could have some of my wife's burger. After finishing our mains, our server offered to comp us dessert and coffee to make up for the error and we were very happy with that arrangement. Both our desserts were spectacular. The creme brûlée was ultra creamy and light with poached pears on top accompanied by a light and flaky pastry lattice. The coffee is exceptionally good, possibly the best I've had anywhere. Before we left, we asked her to take a picture of us and she really spent some time getting it perfect! I can definitely recommend this restaurant without any reservations whatsoever. ”
“ Are you looking for a great date night spot, GNO, or perhaps a place to hold a corporate event, with an amazing view of the Vessel? Look no further as Queensyard just might be the place for you. NYC is one of the cities we love to visit as they have places like Queensyard where you can dress up (sorry im from Hawaii where dressing up to some are wearing their good pair of flip flops or as we call them in Hawaii "slippers", nice shorts and t-shirt with no pukas aka holes). The decor is amazing as there is different sections from the hip bar and lounge area, great place for after work drinks to the sophisticated and elegant dining room. The food for brunch as well as for dinner (yes we came twice) was really good. Their cocktails were nice and while service was a little slow, (I don't like when my water glass is empty) but we enjoyed not being constantly interrupted as well. I'm looking forward to coming back here again when I fins myself in the Big Apple. ”
“ Beautiful place located inside the Hudson Yards Mall! Made reservations for four and we got a table with a great view of the Vessel. We all ordered the Queensburger which was super hearty. Couldn't even finish my fries. The service was a little slow but I expected it just because the place was so big. Also ordered the Mac n cheese and the onions to share and the onions deserve a special shoutout. They go perfect with the burger and I even put some on my burger as well. ”
“ I have to give 5 stars because this was the best steak I've ever had (and I've had a lot of steaks). Our service was fantastic and the ambiance was gorgeous. The chairs were also remarkably comfortable. I must add- the ladies I were with had the butternut squash ravioli and they said it was good not great. ”
